Now that you're here...

Take a quick moment to  download your workbook. Each session is less than 3 minutes long! Can you believe it? It's pretty efficient. Yet, it will be highly effective once you begin putting this teaching into practice. It's time to start growing in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness (meekness), and self-control.

Welcome

I'm so glad that you are here! Signing up for this complimentary mini series let's me know that you are ready to start growing in Christian character in this season of your life.  So, let's do it!

session 1 - love

This session is all about love. Take some time to really meditate on each line of this verse. First Corinthians 13:4-7 tells us, "Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance." How is your love walk?

session 2 - Joy

Now, let's talk about the fruit of joy. Nehemiah 8:10 says, "...Don't be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength." You can express joy when times are good and when times are tough.

session 3 - Peace

God wants to give us peace that surpasses all of our understanding, especially when times are hard. Philippians 4:6-7 gives us comfort in knowing that we can experience His supernatural peace when we are anxious, afraid, or uneasy.

session 4 - Patience

Waiting is not always easy. But God is with us while we wait, and He is at work behind the scenes. Occupy while you wait. I love what Psalm 40:3 says, "Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the Lord."

session 5 - Kindness

God calls us to be kind. Colossians 3:12 encourages, "Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy, and dearly loved,  clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience." If you have been adopted into the faith, this verse applies to you, too. So, let's practice being kind.

session 6 - Goodness

Jesus wants us to show forth the goodness of our heavenly Father as we bear much fruit. He tells us in John 15:8, "When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father."

session 7 - Faithfulness

This session is about faith and remaining faithful to the Lord, our relationships, and commitments. I love what Psalm 31:23 says, "Love the Lord, all you godly ones! For the Lord protects those who are loyal to him." Let's remain faithful and loyal in these end times.

session 8 - Gentleness

This session I will echo the words of the Apostle Paul in Titus 3:1-2, "Remind the believers...they must not slander anyone and must avoid quarreling. Instead, they should be gentle, and show true humility to everyone." God shows favor to those who are humble.

session 9 - Self-Control

The fruit of self-control helps us to literally practice controlling ourselves. When we do this, there is protection of every kind. When we don't, Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 25:28, "A person without self-control is like a city with broken-down walls." We're open for a wide open spiritual and natural attack. We can do this by obeying the Holy Spirit over our flesh.
